The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has urged the government to increase the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates in order to guarantee a decent standard of living for working families. In a recently published report, the TUC sets out a framework to deliver a high wage economy which is underpinned by a plan to raise the minimum wage to £15 an hour as soon as possible.
